🏆 SENIOR HURLING CHAMPIONS 2026 🏆
Congratulations to the boys, who created history today in Abbotstown, winning a first ever hurling championship for the school. This follows a similar first in football last January. Completing the double at senior level in Dublin in 2025-26.
In the game itself, a strong wind in favour did the damage in the first half, as the lads put seven goals past the opposition in the opening 30, including 4 from Aidan Walsh.
In the second half, Leixlip found their form and had plenty of purple patches, but the damage was done, and when scores came late on from James Freel (1-0) and Liam Murray (1-1), the final was put out of reach!
